Aidan became British Flat Track Champion for the 5th time.
The final round of the British flattrack championships was held on Sunday 13th September at Rye house raceway.
Honda rider Aidan Collins went into the final round of the championships just one point behind closest rival Kawasaki rider Oliver Brindley.
The heat races during the day seen Brindley taking the upper hand beating Collins, the pressure was on Aidan for the 12 lap grand final.
Collins made the perfect gate leading the final from start to finish and was able to pull away a good lead with Brindley battling hard with the other riders in which gave Collins breathing space to pull away.
Aidan’s next race will be competing in the European championship which round one is to be held at Morizes France 19th September.
